Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of the singer Dionne Warswick and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew as a child in a household of musicians. But it is The Bodyguard (1996) that made her the top selling album in music. While the film wasn't very well received, nor did her performance, the soundtrack to her Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You hit the top of both the singles and album charts in the United States for months. The album sold over 44 million copies. Also in 1993 that she married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist and father of her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.
